Multi bank chargers with separate charge profiles for each bank

I'm planning to replace my AGMs with LifePo4 and looking for a multi-bank AC/DC charger that will let me set up each bank separately, one for LifePO4 (house) and the other for lead acid start battery. From what I can tell, they all seem to only support one profile for both banks. So I'm probably just going to get two separate chargers, but wanted to know if anyone has found a multibank that supports two different bank types for the charge profiles.

Seems there is only 1 set of DIP switches to pick a battery type on the Mastervolt.

Agreed. In it's simplest form you use the DIP switches. When you accompany the charger with the Easy View 5 and the Master Adjust software you can tweak and manipulate the parameters in many ways. I was between Victron and Mastervolt for my system and this charger is what swayed me. It also saved me money associated with new alternators.

RE the DIP switches, you set them for each battery bank. 1,2,3, etc. You choose battery type for each of the three banks.

The Mastervolt charger seems to be limited to 24VDC.
What about a charger that can charge a 48VDC LFP bank?
Does anybody has a hint?

ac/dc means you are a lot in marina (or generator) why start battery needs an extra charger in dock. you have an alternator. IF start battery don't keep energy 1 month, exchange battery.if you leave your boat by switch disconnect + from start battery.
and install switch 102 both between LifePO4 (house) and start battery for emergency start engine.(best way integrated with VCR switch

Might want to check out DC to DC chargers. Most you can set the profile for any battery type along with setting the voltage to kick in and out so that you can't drain one.

Xantrex just released a 48v charger that can also charge a 12v bank of different chemistry.

Re: Multi bank chargers with separate charge profiles for each bank

I searched and found a 3 bank charger that allowed me to individually set battery technologies and stages, although it was pre-Lithium. My point is that it scans the batteries and finds the bank needing charged. If that bank always has a load, the other banks never get charged. When this charger fails I will go with individual chargers for each bank.

Re: Multi bank chargers with separate charge profiles for each bank

you are probably going to want dc to dc chargers between banks for engine charging. if so then you only need one battery charge.r and the dc to dc will handle charging the others from ac as well.
