Marine Beam trouble getting a response

I have sent MarineBeam an email 3 times in the past couple of months trying to get some info on their wind generator. In the past I always got a speedy response from them but now no response.

Is anyone else having this communication issues with MarineBeam?

Thanks

Chuck

Re: Marine Beam trouble getting a response

Hi Chuck,

We respond to every email, normally within 24 hours, so I don't know what the issue is. Perhaps your email got trapped in the junk filter (although we go thru that regularly also). Try me directly at jeff at marinebeam dot com and we can figure out what is happening and we can answer your questions.

Thanks.

Re: Marine Beam trouble getting a response

I installed a Marine Kinetix last summer on a customers 53' sailboat and was very pleased with it. It is very quiet, barely audible in the center cockpit at 15 knots, light-weight and rectified at the controller for smaller GA wire runs..

I paired it with a Kato pole and as far as I was able to record it performs to the numbers Jeff said it would. When new the cut-in speed was about 10 knots but as the bearings got broken in I regularly saw it spinning up in 6-7 knots.

Jeff was also excellent to deal with. My only gripe would be that the controller I used (I needed it fully programmable) uses thumb twist fasteners for the wire connections.

All in all I was really happy with it, as was the customer, and Jeff was great to deal with..

Just to follow up about the lack of response. I am back to very quick response from Marine Beam now. I think my emails may have ended up in a spam folder? But all is good now.

Thanks Jeff

Chuck
