If you are going to tease us with all this boat porn, we can expect to at least see it all when it's fully installed?

Yes, the base panel that it attaches to with a hinge is ready for install, but we have some prep work for cable entry channels through a bulkhead and finishing where we can’t reach anymore when this is installed.

It’s gonna be interesting, I plan to use gas springs to pull the console up closed against the ceiling with Dyneema line. It’s gonna be too heavy to do by hand

I’m really scraping the markets to get all the components to populate these panels. Breakers and especially the bilge pump switches are hard to find.

You’ll need a larger boat to fit those panels haha! Jokes aside, we’ll done and thanks for sharing.
Fair winds.

Thank you

Because this console will mount to the ceiling, the panels are only 7.5” high. The total length of the console is 66”

Re: Jedi new breaker/control panels progress.

Looks Nice! Just curious - how are you doing the interconnect to the boat wiring? Terminal strips or something sexier? I think I can see some Blue Sea terminal blocks in the first set of pix, but not sure.

I’m using DIN rail terminal blocks. Here’s a picture; the terminal blocks are in the back, behind the finger ducting

Nice! I assume those padeyes are how you're hoisting the whole thing into the overhead?

I foresee a LOT of cutting, stripping and crimping in your immediate future

Re: Jedi new breaker/control panels progress.

I love a clean electrical job. I'd love to see how you built those custom panels/where you sourced them from.

What are those blue sea blocks in the DIN rail photo, grounding blocks?
