Is Victron BM-712 waterproof

Iím installing a Victron BM-712 Smart monitor. Can I mount it on the instrument pod, perhaps with a small bead of sealant? I donít want to destroy an expensive monitor but it would be a convenient spot.

Re: Is Victron BM-712 waterproof

I would mount it inside near the DC panel. and use your phone too look at it in the cockpit if you really felt the need.

you're going to look at it way more often at anchor then while sailing I'd think. more usefull inside.
