Indirect LED lighting

Finished the installation of new 12VDC indirect LED lighting. I have one of these bars on each side of the salon. The light was easy to make and install. Total draw is 250mw and it lights up the salon with a nice cool white light without shadows. I used to need candles to see what was on the table.<P>

Re: Indirect LED lighting

Nice job! I love the indirect lighting used in modern boats and ours will also have it (whenever we find it)!

Re: Indirect LED lighting

All I did was use contact cement (Like for putting Formica on a counter top) to glue the LED ribbon to a 3' piece of Oak. Stained and varnished (Red Mahogany) wired it up and screwed it to the ceiling. All of 3 hours work (1 hour waiting for the varnish to dry).

It's much brighter than the picture looks, but I can turn on each side separately.
