INCHARGE HEART INTERFACE

My Incharge Regulator was working fine, that is until the water pump failed. The seals went and sprayed salt water, much of it directly onto the regulator.

I am in the UK and trying to find a replacement is proving a nightmare, so an alternative seems to be the only option. However, since marine electrics is a bit of a mystery to me (It's getting better though) I need a simple solution, almost plug and play

I would be pleased to accept any advice..

Thanks

Re: INCHARGE HEART INTERFACE

I replaced mine with a Balmar 614-h. Works great.

Re: INCHARGE HEART INTERFACE

^^^^^^^I agree. And when you do, get it out of the engine compartment. Good luck.

BTW, the "-h" for the MC-614 just means it includes the wiring "h"arness.

Re: INCHARGE HEART INTERFACE

the balmar will plug right in. just need to add an additional volt sense wire. and recommend alt and battery temp sensors too.

Re: INCHARGE HEART INTERFACE

I'd like to use the Balmar but I can't get one from the USA in time, I leave for Croatia on the 10th.
Is there a close equivalent available in the UK?
Thanks for your help guys
