if you were looking at smaller, 100-watt panels?

Intend to start small with two solar panels. Each must fit a footprint of about 41 x 26 inches max on our boat. I guess that limits me to 100-watt panels.

Can anyone recommend this product or a similar kit? Is there anything in this kit that doesn't make the grade? Does it even make sense to go with any kit rather than putting the system together yourself?

I have one of the Solar Cynergy 100 watt panels on my boat for 16 months now and its holding up well. Only difference between it and a kyocera panel is the frame on the Kycera is slightly thicker gauge. I have one of each by the way.

I'm a bit contra of the mainstream as I believe its better to add another or larger panel and use a cheap PWM controller then to buy an expensive MPPT controller that give only a 10-12% real world boost.

I JUST received exactly this system from windynation (really, really great people to deal with btw, very attentive) and will let you know how it goes. The panels seem first rate and come with all the gear you'll need for install, though the instructions are online, not in the package.
