Heat Interface Link 2000 delayed Accept?

We have a Hunter 45' 16 yr old sailboat with a 9 KW Kohler GenSet, a Heart Interface Link 2000 unit and an inverter. We usually run our gen for an hour twice daily to keep our refrigeration and hot water full up. We installed new batteries all around a few months ago - 2 banks of 4 AGM and one house. Up to this season when we started our generator and before we put a load on (usually the refrig) it would take maybe a minute for the link 2000 indicator lite to go from charge to accept. Lately it takes up to 10 minutes for this switch to happen. The inverter button is off and the charge button is on. During this time the voltage and amp are both increasing. So, I do not understand why it's taking so long to accept. Guidance appreciated.

Thanks,

Chuck

Chuck, I think you have it backwards. You do not want it to go from bulk (charge) to accept quickly, 'cuz you're getting less amperage into the batteries.

Have you set your charge parameters properly?
