Have I killed my batteries

Hi,

I think I know the answer but for posterity.

I've just got the bought back in the water. Started first time. Was ashore in Spain, where it was outside through the winter, circuit breakers all activated, but the battery left in the boat.

Ive motored down the coast. The batteries are discharging their charges VERY quickly. It seems the charter co I bought the boat from had the starter and service batteries linked as they seem to go down in unison.

The solar lights all seem to indicate thats working. The smaller battery, which I think is the starter battery, has the green light on and seems in health. The service ones do not have the light and there appears to be a bit of a battery acid leak.
