Generators - Have you Heard of Boliy Generators?

Just checking to see if anyone has any experience with Boliy Generators. They seem to compare nicely with Yamaha and Honda, but for a 3000 Watt are much cheaper.

It looks very much like the Chinese produced Honda Clone. The case is different, but the Kipor has the same 'look' in a 1000, and 2000 configuration.

I personally would not buy it, but wish you well if you choose to do so.

Aren't Honda and Yamaha both also made in China?

I don't think the country where it's made of is that important. I understand "made in China" as a general slang for poor design, but I recognise many poor products manufactured out of China is a real thing. I love my Eu2000 design, quality and specs, regardless where it's built ....

I would stick to a know quantity rather that saving a few bucks on an unknown quantity, only to have to spend the additional money sometime in the future.
At least one member of this forum has had experience with a Chinese generator that enfuriated the others in every anchorage that he frequented. Eventually, the unit failed, much to the glee of other boaters.
