Generator Runs But No Power

I have a brand new ETQ TG1200 Generator. I am a liveaboard in La Cruz Mexico in the anchorage.
The generator has been running great but got rained on the other day. I shut it down and dried it good. Opened it up but can't see anything wrong - it has only been run twice. It starts right up but is not producing power. I've also checked the fuse.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Generator Runs But No Power

If water got inside the electronic components, they may be ruined. If you're lucky, a couple of days of baking in the sun WITHOUT trying to run it, may let it dry out and come back to life. If really depends on what the water got into, and whether it is just damp, or ruined. If you try to run it while it is damp, you can toast the electronics.
