Hey folks!
I have a 30A
Victron Orion dc2dc
charger that recommends a 60A fuse on the positive lead from both
batteries. If on the
battery that receives the charge I have a 75A MRBF fuse (where all my
charging sources are connected to), and the wire between that and the dc2dc
charger can handle that amount of
current, would there be any reason to add an extra 60A fuse?
FWIW, the charger's manual doesn't mention what the fuse is protecting, but I assume it's the wire.
