Fischer Panda - starting

I have a new-to-me boat that has a 4500 sc fisher panda on it. The remote panel is not working. Is there a way to start these on the generator themselves? I read through the manual I have but don't see it anywhere. Thanks in advance

If the remote is non functional you should look for a blown fuse at the generator. Usually they are pretty easy to spot near the solenoids.

We don't have a 4500sc, but when our Fischer Panda 11kVA stopped working, it was a fuse in the controller that had blown. I'd suggest checking that.

Our alternator died at the same time -- I suspect there may have an intermittent connection to the starting battery and the high voltage condition blew the fuse.

Thanks so much for you assistance. Unfortunately both of those fuses were good. I was out on the water so looking for a simple solution ("yea, it's the red button on the back) but now that I'm back at dock I'll start trouble shooting to see what's going on.
