Equipment battery bank connections, do I have issues?

In my current setup done by previous owners there is a solution that I am not sure is the best. Are there any risks with the current setup? Would like to understand how bad the current setup is and if I can wait to fix it when replacing the batteries in 2-3 years or I have to do anything immediately.

I have the impression that for the best configuration of the battery bank the batteries should be parallell connected with the plus to the equipment and chargers on the first battery and minus to the equipment and charger on the last battery (or the opposite). In my current setup all batteries are connected to one ”central” battery and minus from the bank is connected twice to the equipment and chargers.

- Battery1 -> Battery2
- Battery2 -> Battery1 + Battery3 + Battery4
- Battery3 -> Battery2
- Battery4 -> Battery2

- All the equipment, Alternator and Battery charger share the same minus (-) that is connected from Battery2 and Battery 4.
- Plus from the the different equipment and chargers are connected to the bank on three of four batteris

Adding a link to a simplified drawing of the equipment battery bank.

It's not the end of the world, but this may help:
