Here's a sample I made with Visio (could also be done with LibraOffice Draw). For this sort of overview, I like the approach of finding model-specific graphics on the web, and using them in place of some of the schematic symbols.

I am releasing a free webapp to create electrical diagrams for boats. It is at https://twoblokesafloat.com/circuit-builder

I am a cruiser who has been redesigning my electrical and really wanted a way to diagram it and generate parts lists.

It is early, so I don't have a huge inventory yet. I am happy to add any components that people suggest.
