DIY masthead light

I want to solder up my own masthead light. Any idea on what and where to get lens/housing materials?

Glass or plastic?

Thanks

Re: DIY masthead light

Hi, i would use the one that is on the boat just replace the bulb with your own leds. Might even be able to take your old bulb apart and use its base for a plug in solution with no mods to your original housing.
