DC Surface Mount socket/plug

Any reccomendations for surface or flush mount sockets for DC? I've used so called marine grade cigarette socket/plugs. and merit style plug/socket, mostly OK, but not long lasting or reliable esp in external even under cover areas.

Re: DC Surface Mount socket/plug

Look at plugs used for downriggers. I've used Scotty before and it worked well. Locks in place. High amperage.

Go to Amazon and search for downrigger plugs. There are several to consider.
