Charging battery bank with 9.9 outboard safely?

How do I safely charge my solar bank, while using my outboard? I have two extremely large AGM batteries, that are charged with solar panels. I have a 9.9 Yamaha outboard , and I would like to use it to keep the batteries topped off. What’s the Safeway to go about wiring this?

"The "alternator" (80W, or < 6A @ 13.7V) on the Yamaha 9.9 is actually made up of a couple of lighting coils under the flywhee,l that generate Alternating Current.

You will need a Rectifier & a Regulator"

Tell us more about your batteries and solar arrangements.
