Capsize: Can I Save the Battery?

I have recovered my Sea Pearl after a capsize. The boat was inverted and it doesn't seem that the electrolyte level has changed. The battery seems 100% discharged and will not accept current from my smart charger. Is there any hope to charge this battery? Dave

The battery has probably shorted out as the posts were submerged....replace battery.
