Best AC Vac with a 1000 Watt Inverter?

I have a Xantrex 1000 Watt Sinus Inverter and looking for a decent AC Vac.
I would love to have a Shop-Vac Mini with 6A but read it may need a 1500 Watt Inverter, or I have been told a Bissell 47R5-1 with 4A may work.

Any recommendation in terms of usage on such an inverter – or maybe even another AC-Vac (have bad expierence with Battery Vac’s) .

Thanks & cheers Marco

1000W inverter should be putting out 8A, it should handle the vacuum as it's only 75% of max output.

Thanks - this was not clear to me - you are basically saying that I even can start an electric motor which may have a high starting power as long go not over the 75% of the continues power of my inverter? Is this some kind of a basic rule?

The surge load is what Swisscraft is talking about. It is a start-up load that is just momentary, most inverters will deal with this easily.
