Battery V sense cutoff for appliances

I am looking to leave my fridge always on but would like the power to shutoff if the bat V drops below a certain level. I have some amount of solar, 250W, but not always at the boat. Solar is the only charge source for the battery when not motoring, boat is on a mooring.

I might be away for a week or 2, so if I leave the fridge on and it is not sunny for a few days, I would like the power to the fridge to cut out when bat V hits a certain level, like say 12V. And if the sun comes back out and the battery recharges up to 12.4, power comes on.

I found this on Amazon, but not thrilled to trust my battery to a $15 solution.

Hoping someone else has figured out something that works and is robust.

Re: Battery V sense cutoff for appliances

Just from a practical standpoint...

If you have food you are going to eat in the fridge, having it turned off for an unknown number of days, coming up to cabin temperature, then cooling down as if nothing had happened, might be very deleterious to the health of people eating that food who would have no knowledge of its history as a biology experiment.

If you do NOT have food in the fridge, why leave it on in the first place?

As a followup to Emmalina, check your refrigeration's manual. My Adler Barbour has low voltage protection by default.

Thank you! Just what I was looking for. Same as the cheap amazon products, but from Victron.

Will check refrig as well to see if it has a V sense to turn it off.

Attaching link for those who are interested.
