Battery Orientation
Hi,
I am upgrading the electrical system on my San Juan 23 and am planning on installing 2-6volt GC batteries which will require relocating the batteries from under the starboard satee. At one point or another I read an article that spoke about the best orientation of the batteries, lengthwise following the keel line or the opposite. Alas, I can't remember the preferred orientation.

Thoughts?
