Balmar sg200 will not initialise with gateway

I have a sg200 plus smart shunt and bt gateway that has been working normally. SW all up to date.
I have just switched to lithium and purchased a mc718 to easy configure alternator. On display I get
“No service available for this selected device” when I select gateway. I’ve tried various work arounds but no luck. Gateway works fine if plugged into smart shunt. If I can’t get system working as it was, there is not much chance of it working with mc618.. SG200 I is early iteration from Rod.
Xecho reveals errors on every loop.
Guess I could ignore display and just use gateway plugged into smartshunt to configure mc618?

Solved. I was running system on PN 1250p power supply and had batteries turned off for config phase. Don't see why but there you are.
All up and running and what a joy after magnet. +++++

No longer running!
If i plug gateway into display , cannot see shunt.
If I plug into shunt, display is offline.
Can't fault the MC618, pretty damn good.
Wish they would play together.

Mine had this problem when installed. If I remember correctly I was doing the update install incorrectly. Call their tech support

When the Sg200 is plugged into shunt and gateway all current updates are there. Devices work.
When shunt is plugged into mc718 and gateway all current updates are there. Devices work.
That is, all devices are currently updated and firmware works..
All three = only a gateway and alphabetic code.
Selecting either, will not initialize system.
Balmar suggested " I had wrong device selected." ???
First thing I did was select the next device in turn.
It will not read all the devices on the network, only two
gateway and alphabetic code which when selected go nowhere
or screen in pic.

Ok, resolved.
Wire up as specified without gateway dongle.
Boot up- network all devices showing
Plug in gateway and boot app.
Who would’ve thunk!
