Interesting, looks like Force10 dropped the open coil gimballed electric option and only makes the glass top now. And I definitely agree, that's not worth buying at that price.

Since the hard part is the gimbal I am surprised some company doesn't make a gimbal box kit with required hardware. Yes you could DIY it or have something custom fabricated but still surprised there is no kit. Induction cooktop up top and convection oven down below.

I have no desire to DIY such sinks and what's available are mostly 15cm/6" deep, not much of difference to 13cm deep domestic one. Not a fan of having spill overs either, been there wiped it.. Another way would be to use plastic washing-up bowl for dishes on the kimbaled cooktop and have only a small sink with faucet.
