Mike and a64, I've been meaning to post, somewhere, a list of all the verboten stuff that keeps coming up on boating forums:

composting heads
NDZs
anchors
chain vs. rope
guns
AIS transmit or receive only
people who suggest starting another new topic
thread drift and/or creep
explaining how to build a watch when the question was how to tell time
is PSOC abuse, behaviour, a state of being or a state of mind?
is it worth writing a whole book as a reply or posting a link?
inverters - MSW do they ever work?
battery types
Which is the BEST?...anything
mono vs multi (almost forgot that doozy)

Please feel free to add to the list.

Thanks, Mike!

I'm just waiting for Steady Hand to start posting links to the "Best Links" for each of these.
