Alternator for Volvo MD7A 13hp
Looking for a spare alternator for this little guy. The origional alternator is a quite weird something or other.

Anyone have any suggestions on something that would be suitable? Ideally it would be something that is readily available.

I would probably like to buy one and a spare.

Re: Alternator for Volvo MD7A 13hp
Just got a replacement alternator from Arco for my MD7a. I have not installed yet, but you will need a new pulley and belt. The Arco alternator has a larger shaft and case. I'm optimistic that when the parts come in from Morins in Maine that it'll work.
