Airmar Speed sensor

Hi I have Airmar Speed/temp Sensor 20-399-01 which has stopped working.
I haven’t used it for over a year and sits out of the water most of the time. I decided to put it into position through the hull and for some reason it isn’t working.

It seems odd that it doesn’t work as it doesn’t have many parts which can fail. Obviously the paddle well moves freely and it’s clean of any dirt.

Can anyone give me some advice.

Thanks

Re: Airmar Speed sensor

That's not a bunch to go on, but I would start with the electrical connections and power to the sensor. Then I would look at whether your network is receiving data from it. Anything electrical that has been sitting is suspect for connections when it's returned to service. If you don't find the problem that way, how about a more detailed description of what you do find, such that the electronics pros on the forum can help?
