AirCon electrical issue...

Electrical neophyte here. Would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. New to me boat has two independent 30 amp circuits with transfer switch to combine them. Forward AirCon (16000 BTU is on circuit A, aft AirCon (also 16000 BTU) is on circuit B. Aft AirCon has soft start, forward unit does not.

Transfer switch is off and each 30 amp circuit is fed by 50 amp shore power that splits to two 30 amp plugs at the boat. Panel shows 120v on each circuit prior to start up of AirCon.

Aft unit works great. The forward unit starts fine, blows cool air for a minute or two then experiences a voltage spike to 140-150 and trips the breaker on the boat panel. Ideas?
