6kw generator experience?

I have very little space for a generator and found a Northern Lights 6kw, model M673L2, which will fit the available space. What has your experience been with Northern Lights as a company and the M673L2 genset in particular?

I have a Northern Lights 8kw and 12kw. Neither have had a problem in the 15 months I've owned them.

Keep in mind that you not only need room to mount the GenSet, you need enough room to work on it once mounted. Poor access can lead to delayed or deferred maintenance and makes repair a REAL pain. The NorthernLights is a very good unit according to everyone we've met that have them.

NL has great phone service. That said, our NL 10 year old 6 kw generator controller board needed replacement. 60 hours on the generator in fresh water. I thought $550.00 was double what should be been charged for something that should not have failed.
