I agree about the DC to DC converter, but that will take over a month to get here... I have them for the port and starboard LED lighting
, and the new 24v Tecma heads. Now that the Galley
Maid 32v fresh water pump
died, was looking for a 40 day temporary solution, and if anyone ever tried the "Diode" theory. 35 amp to 80 amp diodes are readily available around me.
I could also run off 3 of the 8v batteries
for 24v, but discharging a brand new 32v bank unevenly, goes against everything that is best for the bank (no matter how short of a time it may be).
Outback still make a 32v inverter
that I have onboard, but those may be drawing to the end of their popularity WINK
The solar panels
keep the 32v bank at a very happy 34.5v float state. For now the 32v is doing a great job... If it ain't broke, don't fix it... SMILE
Thanks so much !!!
