I'm going to replace my boats 2000 watt inverter
with a 3000 watt inverter
and 1000Ahr lithium bank. I have two requirements
1) I need to cook with two inductive cook tops. I have not chosen them yet, but likely 1500 or 1800 watts. One on high and one on low or two on medium. I don't expect to run both on high.
2) Nuvair MCH3 dive compressor
. It is a 110v / 15 amp, but was told it could be a 230/50hz also. I "assume" it would be about 1/2 the amps 2x the voltage, so about 8 - 9 amps. Ya, it's slow, but might work
. It has a 1.47hp/1.1kW motor
The issue I'm having is the Victron is 3000 VA and Magnum is 2700 Watt. The specs I put below are from the Magnum spec sheet and from an email
from Victron. Seems the long term output over 30 minutes is better for Magnum and starting a compressor
might be the victron for the win. Am I interpreting that correctly? I don't have the missing data for the two inverters so making the exact comparison difficult.
