Re: water under the floor in the living room

It's a new and new to him boat...

I just remember how long it took me to find these little hidden defects as my boat was new. And it's not over yet.

That's why I write what the reason for similar issues was for me. If it's something else, I'm glad to hear it, because I haven't found out everything yet.

Re: water under the floor in the living room

Don't know the fridge type on a 450, but had a problem finding water on the salon floor on my 380. Turns out when you shut off the fridge/freezer, the ice melts. the fridge door is not water tight. There is a plexiglass lip that should keep all the water on the bottom shelf of the fridge, but mine is not sealed well, so all the water doesn't make it to the drain. When the boat rocks back and forth water would run out the door and onto the floor.

Re: water under the floor in the living room

on our 450S, in the beginning we kept getting water inside the fridge. upon inspection we found that the tube was not connected to the drain drawer beneath the freezer compartment. they we found if you pull the drain drawer out the tube pulls off. little bit of a bitch to put back on. our fridge is one of our major complaints. seems lagoon is still stuck in the 90's when it comes to refrigerators. our freezer is great! why they don't install an upright side by side I am not sure. seems to be enough room on the right when entering the Saloon. as do us there is plenty of room as we never use the TV! one day I might just move the freezer to where the fridge is and put in a decent fridge..

Re: water under the floor in the living room

I've been debating putting in one of big double draw fridges the Hellia 44 comes with. (At Admirals Request I should point out !) and moving the freezer to where the fridge is.

Will see. they look nice, just expensive !.
