Sun awning

We chartered a 400 for a month in the Med - summer and looking for a sun awning to protect the cockpit at the stern from the afternoon sun.
As far as I know there is a notch / channel under the edge of the rigid bimini and it would be the most elegant solution to insert a light semi-see-through fine mesh, and rig it slantwise by lashing it to the aft relings.

The fabric must of course be light and folded small to fit in our luggage.

Has anybody an idea if something like that is available on the market, or at least how the cord edge must be dimentioned to fit in the channel?

In case this is not possible, how should be the dimensions for such awning to fit with eyelets and seizings into the area between the roof, the poles and the relings?

Thanks for your ideas...
