450: Solar installation

Hi Scottster I tried to PM you but your mailbox is full!
I Google Coastal Marine in Sidney but only came up with Costline Marine. Would you mind sharing Phil Morris contact? I would like to investigate a little more on the booster. I have a friend coming from Seattle in August maybe he could bring it to Thailand with him.
Also where did you choose to install your watermaker?

I installed my 180 lt/hr kit in the starboard hull of my L450 owners version.

Membranes mounted for/aft under floor directly below electrical cupboard.
Lift pump / high pressure pump and filters under floor around the starboard bilge area. Intake thru hull installed here as well.

Control panel in cupboard under starboard head holding tank in bathroom.
Test point plumbed to spigot over owners vanity basin. Discharge installed next to vanity basin discharge in outside of starboard hull

Freshwater output is only feed to starboard tank.
I installed a ball valve from house fresh water pipe to the port tank in port hull.

This enables me to transfer from starboard to port as required, saving a change over valve and hose run across the boat starboard to port from the water maker output..

Hi,

We installed a Cruise RO, and have the thru hull and boost pump in the port hull at the bilge, the filters are at the end of the forward port berth by the transducer, the membranes and high pressure pump are under the forward berth, and the control panel is in the forward port cabin... drains and sample water are in the forward port head, and we have two feed lines, one going to the starboard tanks and one going to the port tanks...

We have a 60 desalinator which is fitted under the owners cabin bed between the fuel tank and battery pack. The control valve is located above and to the right of the fuse box door. Will send photos in a couple of days.
