Size of the battery compartment

Hello
unfortunately I couldn't go on the boat for a long time because of the Corona virus, and I still can't go so soon. I have my doubts if the original lead-acid batteries can stand this and therefore I want to order new Lifepo4. Unfortunately I do not know the size of the now installed wet batteries, nor the dimensions of the "battery chest" under the bed in the stern cabin starboard (owner version).

Could someone please help me with the dimensions? What is the maximum size of a battery bank there?

That would be a really big help.

Thanks a lot!

With best regards, Uli

Given no response from another 450F owner, I suggest that you go to Lagoon

https://www.cata-lagoon.com/en/450-f

and ask them what size battery they install. You I'm sure can remember how many.

Good luck with it.

Re: Size of the battery compartment

We had original 6 Exide EX g120 gel batteries 120AH

Lxwxh 513*189*223mm

Replaced with 5 taller Victron AGM 336*172*280 170AH with space for an extra,

if that helps.

Re: Size of the battery compartment

I have replaced the original batteries with 4 x Victron Lithium 12.8V, 300Ah.
And there is still space for at least one more.

The dimensons of one Victron battery are:
Height: 347 mm Width: 425mm Depth: 265mm

Hope it helps.
