Say Hello to Summer Kai!

We went for our first sea trial on our new Lagon 52F (hull 93). Although the wind was light, smiles were everywhere! As its our first boat, I am already thanking all of you for your advice to come! Here is a quick YouTube video of us heading out put together by the broker.

Re: Say Hello to Summer Kai!

Congrats!

I absolutely LOVE the blue hulls, I will be very curious to see how it affects the temp inside during the summer. I have long debated this choice and it looks even better than I would have thought.

Keep us informed of how it goes and don't be shy about posting more video's.

Best of Luck

Re: Say Hello to Summer Kai!

Thank you for the enthusiastic response! We love the blue hulls as well!

We were on the boat Sunday and it was warm... But I doubt it will have much of an impact and we couldn't tell any difference sailing around and at the dock on Sunday and Monday. However, I'll try to assess whether I think the Blue hulls have any impact on inside temps over the course of the summer and report back. The biggest problem on a new boat is all of the "stuff" we have to acquire... Especially when my wife and two daughters come aboard with the fabric swatches... Turns out my four year olds cabin will be Pink Flamingos!! (I'll do anything to make sure they are happy on the water!!).

Fair Winds,
