Replacing shower heads & faucets

Hello! Has anyone replaced the original shower head/slide bar/hose? Wondering if I should shop online or order from Beneteau. Thanks!

YES! Answers please.

Plus, all the other lav fixtures... Ours are severely pitted and green from PO not wiping them regularly, I suspect they either need to be rechromed or replaced.

Can I buy off-the-shelf for these parts as well? Heard they're metric fittings but use SAE piping...

Re: Replacing shower heads & faucets

Not Beneteau but I have replaced both. In my boat they are mostly standard plumbing fixtures. Having said that there are some nice fixtures available from Scandvik that are not generally available from other sources. Check them out here: https://www.scandvik.com/index.cfm?m...tegory&catID=3

I like their single handle shower valves and have one in my shower - much better than what was original in my boat. I also use their deck spray head in the shower - it has a press to spray valve which works well for water conservation.

For the head sink and galley faucets standard over the counter fixtures work great.

Re: Replacing shower heads & faucets

I have a 2015 450 and the spigot and adjusting valve for the wash basin in the non-owners heads are bulkhead mount with spigot and mixing valve separate units. Other than the one for like $250 on the beneteau repair parts website I've never been able to find a replacement. Even searched a bunch of French plumbing sites with no luck.

And there is no room to mount a normal through the counter-top unit. Hopefully someone has found a source.
