450: Quick Dylan Windlass

Can anybody confirm me please that the Quick Dylan Windlass on a L 450
2016 / 2017 Model is 12 V ??

I thought this but now in the wiring manual shows 24V

How ever ... maybe it is a mistake in the manual

Same schematic for my earlier 2010 lagoon 450 F. Mine is absolutely 12 V, Had to replace it last year. If you were thinking that the dual powerlines make it 24 V that’s not correct. One is for forward the other is for reverse. Again that’s what I know from my boat, Ymmv

Glad it helped. FWIW, I remember the installation was not difficult. The hardest part was lifting the motor gearbox assembly up to the four bolts coming through the top of the deck down into the chain locker. It was just awkward and required a little more strength than I had so I used a helper - two arms are better than one. Once you shove it into place, the off-center weight of the motor will cause it to hang in place against the four balls while you get the nuts started. Good luck!

It was 12v on my ex-450F also.
