New Lagoon Forum - Navigation Help

Based on member input, Cruisers Forum has created a new sub forum for Lagoon model discussions. Since there is now a dedicated subforum you should now be able to post topics about any model made by Lagoon or any model related issue in this new subforum and keep things more streamlined.

This forum works like all the other fora and members are welcome to start any topic in keeping with the intent of the subforum. We hope this new forum will make navigating Lagoon topics easier for our members.

Thread prefixes for Lagoon models

We added a new feature to help sort info in this forum on a more granular level. Thread prefixes can be added when you start a new thread to reflect the model being discussed.

To add a prefix to your new thread use the new drop down menu for prefixes next to the title line. Select the model and then fill out the title of your thread and post as usual. The prefix will be displayed next to the thread title in the list of threads.

As the Lagoon forum fills with new threads, you can use this feature to sort for threads about one model. At the top of the page there is a tool to sort by prefix.

I'm delighted to hear that we have a New Lagoon forum.
Should we consider a forum for Old Logoons as well?

(Just kidding, Janet. Thanks for all the work you put into designing new features to better meet our growing needs.)

Re: New Lagoon Forum - Navigation Help

Hi. We just added a black water tank to the owners head on our 380s2. Still can't believe this is not standard equipment. As it was, we could only use the loo if we were far out at sea and at night we had to go across to the other hull. Crazy !!!

Re: New Lagoon Forum - Navigation Help

I am new. Just purchased a 2009 lagoon 440.
I have a few questions relating to this cat. I hope I am in the right place.
I need to replace the starboard rudder bearings. Has anyone done this before?
Does anyone have old bearings, or new ones for that matter. I am trying to get pictures of them as well as dimension.
Any help will be good.
Thanks
Mark

Re: New Lagoon Forum - Navigation Help

We had the same issue on our Lagoon 440 - it's normal wear and tear. When you slip the boat the shipyard will be able to coordinate repairs for you.

If you had the yacht surveyed prior to purchasing the surveyor would have identified this issue and could also provide repair recommendations.

Cheers........Jeff

Thanks for that Jeff.
Do you by any chance have a part number for those bearings. I have spoken to engineers and they need a part number to provide the bearings.

Re: New Lagoon Forum - Navigation Help

When we slipped her, that's when we found out that the bearings needed attention. Nothing can be felt on the steering.

Re: New Lagoon Forum - Navigation Help

Unfortunately I don't - our surveyor picked this up and we requested the previous owner carry out repairs prior to us completing the purchase. A Lagoon dealer should be able to help: Try these guys, the AUS Lagoon dealers, TMG, Martin Pettit 0429 388 443
