Lagoon 43 Power Cat

I am looking for some opinions/information on the Lagoon 43 Power Cat - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Any nuggets of information, and/or well-found opinions are welcome. Thanks.

Got it. Lagoons must be trash to be avoided at all costs. I'll move on.

Wow want2cruz, thats quite a statement from a troll. Please dont make statements that are just full of crap and misinformation. Hmm also noted you did not anwwer the question of back up your claim. I know a Lagoon 43 owner and now having read the post I will ask him personally on the pros and cons as he has owned the boat in excess of 10 and is well travelled and very experienced. I guess the L43 cannot be that bad given its ownership for so long and love affair with the boat

Same thinking as OP. I am also looking at FP MY 40. Very nice, new design. Was very impressed with owners stateroom. Want to charter one before I pull the trigger. But need to wait past the virus now.

Folks, everyone take a deep breath and relax.

1) You're posting a question about Lagoon power cats in a SAILING forum.

2) You're asking about models which are not widely adopted.

3) You're impatiently demanding replies within hours.

No replies should not infer negative opinions. That is simply ridiculous logic.

Hours, yes, 100s of them.
I disagree with your logic. If people had positive experiences, I think they would be anxious to share them......crickets!!

Re: Lagoon 43 Power Cat

To be fair the heading of this sub forum is under Manufacturers - Lagoon, not specific to sail boats. There is another sub forum titled Powered Boats, so may be it will find more responses there as most people would assume the Lagoon forum gets far more views from yachties.

From my perspective I think the Lagoon 43 looks like a terrific sea boat, not ever having been on one, it just looks good in my opinion. But I think from comfort point of view the Leopard power cats look pretty cool.

One small nugget of info, friends who had one of these said go for the bigger engine option.
