Lagoon 420 - 1 or 2 Spreaders?

I've chartered a Lagoon 420 and have been doing more research since that's the most likely boat for us in 2-3 years.

I see in the ads that most have a single spreader on the mast while some masts have two.

The L420 that we chartered has a two spreader mast.

What is the advantage between one vs. two? Is the two spreader mast a more expensive option? Any disadvantages to a two spreader mast; I can only think of extra chafe potential? Seems to me the two spreader system would be a stronger rig although mast failures are rare. (I've only heard of one.)

Thanks in advance for any and all comments.
