410: Lagoon 410 Windlass Solenoid

Quick question..On my 2001 Lagoon 410 where is the windlass solenoid located? Is it inside the Leroy Somer windless or somewhere else? Thanks, Sid

My 1999 model has a different windlass, but I would expect the solenoid location should be similar, and that is close to the windlass.

Mine is directly under the mast, affixed to the inside of the bulkhead between the storage under the settee and the anchor compartment.

There is also a master switch near the batteries, in the small low compartment at the foot of the port aft bunk. Then the remote up/down button at the helm is enabled by a switch at the master switch panel.
