39: Lagoon 39 Transom Grab Rails and extra cleats for tender

Morning , If of interest to any L39 owner, i just fitted a couple of extra grab rails and small cleats to use when tying up visitors tenders and thought you may this find useful ,we struggled sometimes to grab onto the stern when coming along side, now really easy though it was a bit tricky to get to the nuts when fitting , you need at least a 3ft extension bar and found using Butyl stuck onto the backing plates helped keep them in situ until you get the nuts on plus keeps everything 100% water tight ,also good to tip is to route out the top of the holes after drilling to stop any gelcoat cracking then use the butyl as the sealing compound Regards Huggi 21.
