Re: Lagoon 380 Owners and Fans

Had the pleasure of overtaking a 2013-Catana 47 during the singlehanded Round Fyn Race the past weekend! Oh-yes, I used a spinnaker, and the Catana only had a gennaker.

Re: Lagoon 380 Owners and Fans

My wife and I are ordering a new Lagoon 380 and are interested in upgrading the commodes to something with a "household" size bowl and likely electric flush. Am having a hard time finding our if this is possible (is there enough room). Does anyone have any experience with this?

We have electric Saniflo heads. Salt and fresh water flush option. Plenty of room. We converted starboard salt water pump to double as wash down pump, which is ran to windless locker.

Re: Lagoon 380 Owners and Fans

Hi everyone,
not many posts here, surprising as the 380 is the most sold cat around....

I just joined the 380 community with a 2003 model.
Re-registered her as an Australian vessel.

I had a rough ride in a Northerly gale from Croatia to Bari, Italy. She handled perfectly.

Looking forward to be part of this community.

BTW, can anyone tell me the hull number, my HIN is FR-CNB 38185 J203, I know the Hull number is hidden somewhere in 38185.....

FR-CNB 38185 J203
HULL# 185. The J203 is the approximate week and year the hull was laid. March, 2003.

I had a PDF from the owners forum showing what each code block meant and now I can't find it. After the 380 S2 they changed to a 12-14 alphanumeric.

The hull number is engraved/moulded on the aft port topside, just in front of the rubber cover moulding that runs around the sugar scoop.

Re: Lagoon 380 Owners and Fans

You find the hull nr on many of the wood plates used in the boat, evry thing is labeled. just look behind floor bords.
The last hull will be 894 made this summer, then the Prod is stopped.
hull #3 is sailing in Canada if i remember correct.

But they will al live on, the first once where made in 1999.
And it is a good solid cat.

sail safe. and enjoy 2019.
