i am looking for info on the speed of a 440

I will be chartering a Lagoon 440 the second week in June and was looking to see what speeds i could expect to get. I understand wind speed and direction will be a factor. What about speed under power? I will be going to Bimini so the GS will play a part in my speed. would it be advisable to head south down the Fl. coast then cross to get some help as opposed to going from Ft. Laud. Thanks for any advise i can get.
