I used the Dek-king synthetic
teak. It's called the Euro cool (I think) and is lighter in color. It's supposed to be cooler to walk on but once the sun hits it you cannot stand still on it.
I put it down myself. It's VERY time consuming but with a sharp knife and the proper glue, if you are a handyman you can fit it yourself. It's held up very well for the few years I've had it down. My
boat is near to a busy road so the
flooring picks up a lot of dirt but a
power washer brings it right back to new. Nothing I've done to it so far has damaged it or stained it.
It cost me $2,200 for the area you see in the
photo, the driving
helm area, the area leading to the steps and both sugar scoops and included the different glues for the
project.
