does anyone know of what material (trade name) the bimini is made of?

Has anyone in europe ever ordered some fabric to patch?

Sunbrella (Taupe) we have used this for additions to existing aft covers and new hard top canvas on fly bridge and it matches up.

One site you can look at different fabrics and colors is at Sailrite - Fabric, Canvas, and Sewing Machines Since 1969 Sunbrella is a very good product. You may or may not have that particular fabric though. You should use the "Marine" grade fabrics though in any case.
