If you are considering a 20 Hp, check the fitting instructions, it may be required to be through bolted to the transom esp if power tilt model (check for warranty and insurance re proper fitment). Whilst this is a theft deterrent as well, it would be a PITA for taking on and off the dinghy on any sort of regular basis.

I have a Walker Bay 325 super tender. It is perfect size for L42. Also like the bow seat which makes stepping on and off very easy. Have Yamaha 15 on back. Not crazy about all that weight so high, but is fine so far. Also have outboard bracket which I have mounted removable BBQ. Pic attached.Click image for larger version
