Cristec Chargers in Power Supply Mode

My original bank of 6 wet cell batteries is now down to 3 and the last few are gassing quite a lot. Replacement Lithium are 3 days away and for safety I want to remove the old batteries now. I'm on shore power and the Cristec manual says the chargers can operate in a DC power supply mode but doesn't discuss how. Is there any trick to this before I proceed?

Re: Cristec Chargers in Power Supply Mode

There is a little wheel you might need to turn - slide down the yellow panel and use a small screw driver and turn the wheel (RC1) to position F (. I have never used the function myself - but that is what the manual seems to suggest. (Cristec models CPS3)

Re: Cristec Chargers in Power Supply Mode

Thanks BC, my chargers are YPower Christecs and no mention of selecting power supply mode. I was wondering if there was a DIP switch option for it, I just left the LA battery selection and it outputs a steady 13.6VDC. Happy days...
