Bottom Slap on a 2007 Model

All Lagoon Owners will be familiar with the thumps and shudders when waves hit the bridge between the hulls. On the heavier thumps I am hearing a seperate distinctive cracking sound that seems to coming from forward of the helm, or maybe from the entire saloon roof structure. I have heard it more than a few times so I don't think its something actually breaking, but it doesn't sound good !
Any others noticed this ? We have only had the boat 9 months so still learning the ropes. Should I be concerned ?
Welcome any advice I can get, Thanks in advance

If you haven't already, tighten down hard all bolts holding the bimini. That means 4 on the top plate and 4 on the bottom plate and one on the support strut of each of the forward struts. Plus 4 on the bottom plate and 2 on the top plate on each of the rear struts.

I was stunned at how loose many of them were after purchasing the boat and hearing noise in rough seas that I eventually traced to the forward strut. I now do this before every blue water passage and twice a year. There are always a couple loose. Probably need to tighten less often if the boat sees a lot of marina time or little blue water. Mine is a full time cruising boat
